Answers

1.

Double-click the clip, drag it into the Viewer, or select the clip in the Browser and press Return.

2.

Press the spacebar or the Play button or use the J-K-L keys. You can also drag the playhead through the Viewer scrubber bar and use the shuttle and jog controls.

You can press the Mark In or Mark Out buttons, use the keyboard shortcuts I or O, or choose an appropriate option from the Mark menu.

The duration is calculated from either the In point or the beginning of the clip if no In point exists.

5.

You can drag the edit point in the Viewer scrubber bar to a different location, or you can simply remark a new edit point.

6.

Press Shift-I to move to the In point; press Shift-O to move to the Out point.

7.

Click in the Location field and type the timecode number, then press Tab or Return.

Click the Play In to Out button in the Viewer transport control area, or press Shift-\ (backslash).

Yes, all marks are saved when you save the project.
