Question: I hear all the time about viruses spread by e-mail. How can I be sure that a message I get from someone is really from them and not some sort of autogenerated infected mail? Also, I think Tom Brokaw is reading my e-mail. What can I do about that?

Answer: This sounds like a job for encryption and digital signatures! (You were expecting what, Superman?) There are very powerful free packages to solve your little problem.
