You have completed the exercise Adding Authentication. Here is what you did:

  • You removed the default user ID and password information from the Order Entry application.

  • You ran the application and provided authentication where requested .

  • You worked with Page Designer to produce your own logon page by changing the default WebFacing logon page.

  • You tested your new user-defined logon page.

You are ready to move on. In the next chapter, you will learn about display file mappings. If source member names and display file names do not match, you need to let the Web-Facing run time know about these name differences. Proceed to the exercise Display File Mapping.
