Written for IBM eServer iSeries programmers responsible for converting applications to a web-based interface, this book takes users through WebFacing a sample green screen application using IBM WebSphere Development Studio Client. How to use the different features of the tool to enhance the application after the initial conversion is demonstrated, including debugging. Converting the user interface, running the WebFaced application, enhancing the web user interface, starting the CODE designer, and using WebSettings are covered in detail. About the Authors

Claus Weiss is an advisory software consultant with the iSeries application development tools team at the IBM Canada Toronto Laboratory. He was a developer and teamleader for System/38 development tools and has been a member of the design control group for the AS/400 development tools. He has worked as a planner for iSeries application development for the past 10 years and is a frequent speaker at COMMON and other iSeries conferences.

Emily Bruner is a technical writer for the iSeries application development tools team at the IBM Canada Toronto Laboratory. She develops solution-level documentation for WebSphere Development Studio Client and takes part in product testing and web design.
