I promote Projekt Podcast on music boards and lifestyle boards for people who migrate to gothic culture and its various incarnations. It seems like a no-brainer, but as you know, in the early stages of podcasting most of the podcasters were mostly just there for one another, listening to each others' shows. They promoted their shows on the boards of directories like Podcast Alley and the Podcast Pickle, but not in a lot of other places.
