In Chapter 5, "Installing and Configuring Access Points," you learned how to configure and install access points (AP). This chapter continues the discussion of configuring wireless LANs (WLAN) and explains how to configure your clients. In this chapter, you see many of the same characters (service set identifiers [SSIDs], 802.1X authentication methods, and wireless equivalent protocol [WEP] keys, for example), but their implementation on a wireless client is different than on the AP.
