The SQLPermission is checked by the SecurityManager when the code calls one of the setLogWriter() methods in an applet. The SQLPermission object may contain a named permission: setLog.

This constructs a new SQLPermission instance with the symbolic name provided as a parameter. The only supported name for SQLPermission is setLog.
