The manager of a real estate fund was accused of increasing the value of shares in the fund by providing false information to potential investors when the value of the fund plunged. The manager was further accused of faking and falsely dating computer documents to support the claim of innocence. A computer forensics team was hired. Information that was recovered by the team was able to mitigate and diminish claims against the client.
