Chapter 5. creating albums with flexible layouts

In the previous chapter you created an album in a simple fixed-layout style. To get more flexibility and exercise your creativity fully, you need to choose one of the Full Photo styles. When you choose one of these styles, the Album Creation wizard places your photos on the album pages without any borders. You can truly resize your photos (there's no frame to crop the enlarged image) and reposition photos on the album page.

One borderless styleNo Bordersis designed for creating album pages that you can print on your home printer. At the time this book was being written, No Borders is the only style that allows you to work with photos that have an aspect ratio other than 3:4. For the future, Adobe plans to update templates to give you this freedom in the styles that create hardcover photobooks as well. For this project, we'll work with a style that gives you lots of creative license and that makes albums that can be printed as hardcover photobooks. (For more about updating templates and ordering photobooks, see Chapter 6.)
