This section provides the details of what you must include in your registration package for each type of entity. Generally, you must supply copies representing the entire work being registered.
Computer Programs: One copy of identifying portions of the program (first 25 and last 25 pages of source code) reproduced in a visually perceptible form, together with the page containing the copyright notice. For details, please see US Government publication ‚“Circular 61, Copyright Registration for Computer Programs. ‚½
The copyright notice must consist of three elements; the symbol ‚ or the word ‚“Copyright, ‚½ the year of first publication of the computer program, and the name of the copyright owner. See Listing 1 for an example.
