Image Editors

Image editors provide much of the same benefit for deployment as icon editors. In addition to adding a professional image to your application, many custom deployment tools allow you to change the graphics used by the deployment package. All of the tools highlighted in this section include the ability to convert graphics from one format to another. This can be useful when you need to convert bitmap images to JPEGs or GIF for use in your Internet applications. Each tool has advantages and disadvantages.
