Our Disclaimers

While we try our best to cover all the different types of deployment scenarios, we only have our experience to write about, and might not necessarily include your particular situation. All the authors continue to deploy new applications and different technologies. This may lead to the possibility of additional whitepapers, electronic chapters, and errata postings on the Hentzenwerke Web site in the future to keep our readers abreast of the changes.

We are covering a broad range of scenarios, some basic, some more complex. If you read a section in the book and feel like saying ‚“Duh, ‚½ excellent ! This means first we might have it right and second we covered something you know, but others may not have had that same experience. If you read this entire book and do not learn a single thing, well, maybe Whil should have called you to write the book (tongue firmly planted in cheek).

You may find as you read different chapters that we have repeated some topics. This was indeed intentional. If you approach reading books as we do, you read chapters based on the topic and sections you need direction at that time. You likely will not read the entire book from page one to the end in one sitting. We repeated certain topics based on the importance of the subject in the context of the material presented. We also included pointers to other sections in other chapters to get more details about the subject. We did our best to be consistent in this approach.

We also include numerous links to the Internet when we reference tool downloads, whitepapers, tips and tricks, and other information you can get to by directing your favorite browser to the Web site. The concern we realized while writing is these links can change at the whim of a webmaster and this could pose a problem as you read this book, minimally twelve months after some of it was written, and possibly years later. We felt the positive information outweighs the potential for a lost link and the fact that developers are good detectives as well, we figure you are resourceful and can track down information that gets disconnected.
