About the Authors


Diana Huggins is currently an independent contractor providing both technical writing and consulting services. Prior to this, she worked as a senior systems consultant and technical trainer. Some of the recent projects she has completed include a security review of Microsoft's official curriculum, content development for private companies, and network infrastructure design and implementation projects.

Diana's main focus during the past few years has been on writing certification study guides. To complement this, she continues to work as an independent consultant and technical trainer. Diana runs her own company, DKB Consulting Services, whose main focus is on developing training certification courseware and online practice exams, as well as content delivery.

Diana currently holds several industry certifications, including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT). Although her focus is on information technology, she holds a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Manitoba.

Dennis Scheil is an independent computer consultant and trainer. He has more than 20 years of experience on a wide range of hardware, software, and applications in both project management and technical capacities . Dennis has worked with numerous clients to develop cost-effective , well-designed, and user -friendly business systems. As an instructor and lecturer, Dennis uses his consulting background to help his audience understand complex technical issues in a business context, and he provides real-world scenarios to help illustrate the technical issues involved. Despite all of this, he has still maintained a sense of humor.

Dennis is a graduate of Syracuse University and holds a graduate degree from Princeton University in Germanic literature. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer + Internet (MCSE+I), a Certified Technical Trainer (CTT), a LAN Server Engineer (LSE), a Certified OS/2 Engineer, a Certified Network Professional (CNP), and an Accomplished Toastmaster (ATM). He has just been awarded the prestigious CAC (Certified Acronym Collector) designation, as well.
