This exercise helps the coachee to commit to a course of action by verbally finishing a sentence .
This will take approximately 15 minutes. No equipment is required.
Below we give you some of the sentences that can be used to help a coachee commit to the action plan. However, this activity can be used with any sentence; for example, it is often used to evaluate a development activity. Make up your own sentences as appropriate.
Tell the coachee that you are going to give the first part of a sentence and the coachee has to finish it with something that is true for him or her. Some sentences to use are:

I am going to ensure that. . .
I will avoid. . .
When I put my plan into action I am going to. . .
I will. . .
I will not. . .
I must. . .
I must not. .
