˜When we make an initial contact with a client we make a thorough analysis of that company. Before I do the analysis, I write down a few keywords for that specific company, says a consultant.

˜My starting-point for the analysis is the factors that describe the company. They make me see where I can step in and help that company to make its activities more effective. The most important thing is to get an overview. What is the company like today and how do they organize their administrative and operational routines? What is done manually and what is done by machines and computers? What are the volumes ? Where are the problems?

˜Looking at a factor such as personal effectiveness we go through jobs that involve finance, marketing, planning, correspondence, invoicing , calculations, word processing, etc.

˜To use it is a matter of qualifying the client. By qualify we mean what we want to know whether our solutions will suit this specific client. Our solutions are at present linked to personal computers as the use of a PC will raise the level of personal effectiveness in the companies we are working with.

˜Before I attended one of Ingemar s seminars and got the idea to use learning maps for analyses, I had a large number of questionnaires and forms, which were complicated to adapt to each client. They also took a very long time to fill in. With a mind map I get an overview very quickly, I can discover the weak spots and both the client and I save time.

˜When you work with analyses you must get overview and wholeness as a result, and learning mapping is a better and quicker way to do it.
