logic and imagination

logic and imagination

Most memorizing techniques are based on the same elements, logic and imagination.

Let me use an image to explain what this is all about. You have two piles of paper which you would like to join up to make a book. On one pile you have a logically built up system of rules, often based on figures. On the other pile you find the words you are supposed to remember.

You always learn the rule system by heart, in order to use it for recall of the words you want to remember.

In order to join the two piles you need imagination. With the help of associations you create images that join number one on the pile to the left with number one on the pile to the right. In that way you make a connection that will help you to remember better. You will soon know exactly how this is done.
