Summary

 < Day Day Up >

In this chapter, you have learned about two major components in the CSA architecture: application classes and variables. Both application classes and variables (or sets) are very important to understand when your CSA deployment begins to scale. With this newfound ability to group various types of objects, you can now have a deployment in which all rules are consistent and efficient.

With the majority of the CSA MC building blocks behind you, you can now continue toward its actual use, tuning, and advanced concepts. As Glinda, the Good Witch of the North in the Wizard of Oz reminds us, "It is always best to start at the beginning." So let us do just that. In the next chapter, you will discover the security agent protective software itself, along with its local installation and usage.
