Where to Go Next

Although XML is just now becoming a "mainstream" technology, it has been in use in a wide variety of applications for some time. If you're yearning to know more about XML, a great place to start is on the Web ”just open up your browser and fire off a query to your favorite search engine. The result is likely to be overwhelming. For Word-specific questions, try the Word online help system. For many topics, Microsoft has also developed training materials that are available via the help system (though at the time of this writing there are none for XML). Browsing the technical section of a good bookstore or your library is also a good way to find up-to-date XML resources. You might want to check out Sams Teach Yourself XML in 24 Hours .
