Oracle Web

Oracle Web is now part of Oracle's integration philosophy. Instead of offering its Web capabilities as a stand-alone product, Oracle now bundles them with its 9 i AS server. The 9 i AS is truly a middle- tier product that includes the Apache server and automatically gives you the Oracle Forms and Reports servers.

In Chapters 13 and 15 I will take your database and Forms efforts out to the Web and show you how to use the power of the 9 i AS product. I think you'll be impressed. It is the crowning touch for the system that we're going to build in the next chapters. (No matter how hard things may get from time to time in this book, don't give up. You will have an impressive system to show off at the end!)
