Chapter 5 -- Creating an Organizational Unit Plan

Chapter 5

About This Chapter

After you and your design team finish creating a domain plan, the next stage in designing an Active Directory directory services infrastructure is to create an organizational unit (OU) plan. To create an OU plan, you define an OU structure and then plan user accounts and groups. The end result of an OU plan is a diagram of OU structures for each domain, a list of users in each OU, and a list of groups in each domain. This chapter discusses the process of creating an OU plan.
