One of the hardest things to develop is a good ear for sound. It's not something you're necessarily born with. It can take a long time to really perfect your skills. When you listen for audio quality, especially when formatting files for multimedia, it can become difficult to distinguish what settings affect the overall sound quality. One thing in Premiere that I find very useful is checking the audio file's properties. This gives you information on the clip's name, source path, duration, compression formats, and quality settings. This information can come in handy while editing your projects. Most people are better at distinguishing the quality of video clips, because video is a visual format. Audio requires you to listen closely for the little details and nuances that differentiate a sound file. To view the Audio Properties window, do the following:
