Importing Explorer Settings

The default home page in Firefox is a Google search box. Many people leave this as their Firefox startup page, but you don't have to. In fact, if you already have a home page set in Explorer, you can transfer it, along with all your other Explorer settings and favorites, to Firefox in a few seconds by clicking File in the upper-left corner of the Firefox window and choosing Import from the dropdown menu.

The next window has a series of checkboxes. You can select specific Explorer settings, passwords, and favorites to import, or you can just go with the default and import all of them at once.

Your Explorer Favorites will be called Bookmarks in Firefox, but that's the only major change. You'll still log into your favorite sites automatically, and all your other options will be the same.
