About the Authors

Carl S. Chatfield
Carl is the site manager for Project and FrontPage on Office Online (www.office.microsoft.com). Prior to his assignment to Office Online, Carl had worked on Office applications since 1991. Carl is also a technical communication instructor at the University of Washington. He is a graduate of the Masters program in Technical Communication at the University of Washington and has been certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute. He lives in Kirkland, Washington.

Timothy D. Johnson
Tim is a technical editor in the Project User Assistance team at Microsoft. Prior to joining the Project User Assistance team in 2000, he was a Project support professional for six years (going all the way back to Project 3.0—if you called Microsoft Product Support Services with a Project question, there’s a good chance you talked to Tim). Tim lives in Issaquah, Washington.
