A.5. Inspecting the DOM in Safari

To inspect the DOM in Safari, you'll need to use WebKit. WebKit is the open-source system framework used by Mac OS X apps like Safari, Dashboard, and Mail.

How to use it:

Download WebKit from the project web site. Then, enter the following command in a Mac OS X Termainal prompt:

Right-click, and select "Inspect Element", to bring up the DOM Inspector in Safari WebKit.
