Summary

We have reviewed the basic concepts of object-oriented programming. We have examined some of the kinds of documentation that is produced during development and that plays a role in testing. We have considered these things from a testing perspective that is, in terms of what failures would likely result from the use of various object-oriented programming concepts.

In the next chapter we will examine the testing process.
