This is discussed in the phase section of the book, but because this is one of the few communication questions that always seems to be on the PMI examination, here it is once again. The formula for determining how many channels there are between a given number of people is: N (N1)/2, where N = the number of people on the project. If you have four people on the project, the formula looks like this: 4 (41)/2 The answer is that six channels of communication exist when there are four people on the project. Learn this formula and how to use it. It will be on the examination. |
