The Delta Guide series is unique in that it covers only what has changed between versions of a product or operating system; in this instance, this book looks at what has changed between Exchange 2000 and Exchange 2003. To be blunt, if you are new to Exchange, this is probably not the book for you. This title assumes that you have had some experience with Exchange and network administration in general and does not explain common terms or networking concepts (for example, "What is TCP/IP?"). This book covers the features and functionality that have changed between versions and some of the configuration required to get these features up and running, with additional background information included in both the book and related online content. If you do have some experience with a previous version of Exchange, you should be able to be productive with the new version in a fraction of the time it would take you to troll through the product documentation to see what has changed. |
