10.3 Conclusion

This chapter explained the transaction attributes defined by the EJB architecture and showed how to apply them with declarative transaction demarcation. The chapter also explained and demonstrated how to do transaction demarcation by clients and by session beans.

From here, we move to the issues surrounding security. Chapter 11 describes how to handle security from the point of view of application developers and deployers.
