Now that you have gone through the modeling process shown in this chapter, you should have a good idea of the strengths and limitations of modeling with each kind of surface in Maya. Knowing how and when to best use each kind of surface in Maya will make you a better modeler, one who is more efficient when creating characters. The goal of modeling is to create a skin that not only looks good, but that also deform well during the animation process.
