Now that we have looked into the essential steps in planning a web site and its database, we can concentrate on creating the site.
In this chapter we will look at our example site - The Dreamweaver Hotel, in more detail. To begin with, we will establish the database tables and structure that we need to store the site's content and information by employing lessons learnt in Chapter 2. Once we have created the database tables we will look at creating our first pages, based on a sample layout, and introduce the new Dreamweaver MX templating system. This will allow us to standardize our layout, so that we can concentrate on the development of the rest of the site. |
