Prerequisites
This course requires that students meet the following prerequisites:
- Knowledge of the TCP/IP networking protocol and the use of the Internet Protocol (IP) addressing schemes, Domain Naming Service (DNS), and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)
- Experience with the installation and configuration of Windows NT servers, primary domain controllers (PDCs), and backup domain controllers (BDCs)
- Experience in the installation and configuration of Windows 2000 servers and domain controllers
- Knowledge of Active Directory directory services trees and forests and Windows 2000 organizational units (OUs)
