Consortia and subcontracting

Where subcontracting is acceptable, the client may ask bidders to indicate the parts of the contract that they propose to assign to third parties. The bid specification may define the maximum proportion of the total services that subcontracted firms are allowed to provide, and may require signed declarations from intending subcontractors (Chapter 10).
