1.1. Create the Application and Its Main Window

Let's start by using Visual Studio 2005 to create a Windows application, one that you can program with VB 2005. First, you need to fire up Visual Studio 2005 and open a new project by selecting File New Project… on the Visual Studio 2005 menu. Visual Studio displays the New Project dialog shown in Figure 1-2.
