BlogJet

BlogJet is a weblog client for Windows available from blogjet.com. A 30-day trial version is free. We used version 1.6.2 in writing this chapter.

Extensive support and documentation are available at blogjet.com/support.

Fill in the form on the Edit connection settings window (Figure 2):

  • Provider allows you to choose from various blogging systems. Select WordPress (direct upload) to interact with WordPress.

  • Host is the address for your domain, without the http:// protocol. For example: www.firstbite.co.nz or wpvqs.wordpress.com. If your blog is in a sub-directory on your own server do not include that sub-directory name.

  • Page is the address for the xmlrpc file. Start this address with a slash, for example: /xmlrpc.php. If you installed your blog in a sub-directory on your own server, include that sub-directory name here, for example: /vqs/xmlrpc.php.
