Summary This chapter has given you a high-level introduction to C#. At this point, you should know enough about C# to follow along with the examples that I will be developing later in this book. There are still plenty of things about the C# language that I have not covered in this chapter, such as delegates, events, and XML documentation. The .NET Framework documentation and A Programmer's Introduction to C# by Eric Gunnerson and APress are excellent sources of information if you would like to know more. In the next section, I talk about Visual Studio .NET and build an example program using this world-class development tool. |
