Track 5: Rock Organ

Sequence Parameters box: Qua 1/8 note

Instrument Parameter box: Cha 5, Prg 18

Transport Bar: (L) 1.1.1 (R) 5.1.1

Follow these steps:

  1. Record the organ between the Locators (Figures P3.38 and P3.39). Play it quietly ; it's only a supporting part. Reducing the velocity value in the Instrument Parameter box will help achieve this.

  2. Copy the sequence to bars 5 (5 8) and 14 (14 17).

  3. Change the Locators to (L) 9.1.1 (R) 13.1 1 and record the middle section (Figures P3.40 and P3.41).

  4. Save Song compare with project3/3.11.

NOTE

If you find it difficult to play with a light touch, reducing the velocity value in the Instrument Parameter box before you play will affect your performance in real time. Experiment with different values ( Figure P3.42 ).
