In this chapter, you've learned how to use T-SQL and Enterprise Manager to modify database tables by altering, adding, dropping, and renaming columns. Along the way, some of the differences between T-SQL functionality and Enterprise Manager functionality have been demonstrated. You've also learned how to create a database diagram using the Create Database Diagram Wizard and how to drop a table and all its data from a database. Other types of modifications can be made to a table, including altering, adding, and dropping constraints and defaults. These modifications will be described in Chapter 16.
