ProblemYou receive error code 19, 31, 32, or 39 when trying to access a CD-ROM, or you can no longer access a CD-ROM after you remove CD-burning software. Solution
DiscussionThe removal of CD-ROM burning software or a software malfunction can leave erroneous data in the Registry that prevents decoding of CD-ROM content. Removing the erroneous data allows Windows to use complete, correct references for CD-ROM decoding.
