Scheduling is just the beginning of planning a meeting. The preparation tasks ” including coordinating the agendas and background materials and distributing the information needed to run an effective meeting ”can be a real challenge.
New in Office 2003 ”Meeting workspace By using a meeting workspace , a new feature in The Microsoft Office System 2003, you can share all the information in one central location accessible to attendees through the Internet or your company s intranet. A meeting workspace is sub-site of a Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services Web site where you can publish your meeting agenda and objectives, post documents and files, track tasks, and more.
By centralizing this information, your meeting attendees always have access to the latest information, and you avoid sending large files through your e-mail system.
