We'll start with an overview of the charting features included in ColdFusion. ColdFusion comes with a series of tags that will allow you to:
Create many different types of graphs, including pie charts, bar graphs, line graphs, and scatter charts.
Format your graphs with an extensive number of formatting options for controlling fonts, colors, labels, and more.
Display the graphs on any ColdFusion page as JPEG images, PNG images, or interactive Flash charts.
Allow users to drill down on data shown in your charts. For instance, you could allow people to click the wedges in a pie chart, revealing the data represented in that wedge.
Combine several different charts, displaying them together on the page. For instance, you might create a scatter chart that shows individual purchases over time, and then add a line chart on top of it that shows average spending by other users.
Save the charts to the server's drive for later use.
