The Distance Learning sample program demonstrates the mapping of P2P protocols to agent communication. A question-answer session is established between a teacher and a student. The teacher creates an agent who records and scores the answers received from the student, and based on the student's exam score, makes recommendations on additional Web sites to research. PurposeThe purpose of the Distance Learning sample program is to illustrate the discovery protocol and communication protocol of JXTA. Community FormationDistance Learning provides the capability to form a community (or group) by creating peers. The community here is the virtual classroom. Students join the classroom by establishing a connection to the application, and leave the classroom by exiting the application at the end of a question-answer session. |
