The client components are not required to access the dashboard. For the Windows OS, you can use the following browsers:
Internet Explorer 4.01 or later
Netscape Navigator 4.51 or later (for Italian and Spanish versions of SharePoint Portal Server)
Netscape Navigator 4.75 or later (for English, French, German, and Japanese versions of SharePoint Portal Server)
NOTE
Netscape users must use Internet Services Manager to enable Basic authentication for the workspace node on the Default Web Site. Also enable Basic authentication for the MSOffice node for discussions to work.
You must enable Microsoft JScript or Netscape JavaScript support in your browser for the dashboard site to function
The Macintosh and Solaris operating systems are not supported
