The speed at which bits of data flow through a specific area or connection. The bit rate measures the number of bits over time (bits per second).
BitTorrent:
A peer-to-peer file distribution program. Files are broken into smaller chunks, distributed in fragments, and then reassembled on the requesting machine. If a piece is missing, each peer takes advantage of the best connection to find the missing pieces. BitTorrent is a very effective tool for sharing large amounts of data, such as videos and large audio files.

The act of contributing to or running a Web log (blog). Depending on the form of the blog, there can be various incarnations of the name, including video blogging, audio blogging, and photography blogging.
