Practically any stage, with the exception of the Switch Stage and the Clean Stage, can be undone. What do we mean? Well, we have the capability of undoing stages of the Rolling Upgrade. In the next table, we show which stages can be undone, how to undo the stage, and any comments related to this process. See Table 25-5.

If there are cluster members running on tagged files then use the command clu_upgrade tagged disable memberid command to disable the tagged files on the specified cluster member. |
Preinstall | clu_upgrade undo preinstall | This command must be run on the lead cluster member. |
Install | clu_upgrade undo install | Halt the lead cluster member and then execute this command on any other cluster member. When this command is completed then boot the lead cluster member. |
Postinstall | clu_upgrade undo postinstall | This command must be run on the lead cluster member. |
Roll | clu_upgrade undo roll memberid | Halt the cluster member which you wish to undo the Roll Stage then execute this command on any other cluster member. When this command is completed then boot the halted cluster member. |
