Throughout this chapter we have discussed many facets of CLUA. What seems to be a fairly straightforward concept turns out to present many "what ifs." The result is a cluster subsystem that consists of many components including processes (aliasd and aliasd_niff), files (/etc/clu_alias.config, /sbin/init.d/clu_alias, /etc/gated.conf, /etc/gated.conf.membern , /etc/clua_services, /etc/exports.aliases), a utility (cluamgr), an API (clua_isalias(3) and others – not discussed in this book), a kernel subsystem (clua), and various other kernel components (also not discussed in this book – see the TruCluster Cluster Technical Overview for more information on kernel activities to support CLUA).
