Sometimes the implementation date sneaks up on the development team, and it is easy to skip some of the steps that are discussed in this chapter. How implementation is handled can better educate the client, not only regarding the use of the Web site but also how to market it. It also can build the client's confidence in the Web site because (1) it works and (2) the client knows how to make it work. There are no surprises.
In this chapter, Charles J. Bleau, the project manager behind Disabilitynews.net, contributes his ideas regarding plans for marketing a Web site (Lab 13.1). Charlie's material is meant to compliment the materials that my coauthor, Donald Emerick, has presented in Part I.
