If you've read this book straight through without skipping around, then you've no doubt noticed something about my personality. I'm pretty sarcastic and witty from time to time. My therapist says that I use this to cover my true feelings and that I need to get in touch with my inner child. She called it, "Alone time." The only thing I don't understand is that if it's "alone" time, then why does my inner child have to come along? Personally, I don't think you should force your way into someone else's alone time. It's just rude, which means that my inner child is rude, and that could explain a lot about why I am sarcastic. Once I realized this, I went back to my therapist, told her the story, and said that I felt it would be better if my inner child and I don't talk for a while since he feels the need to disrespect me that way. After about an hour of me explaining the discussion I had with my inner kid, a strange thing happened. My therapist began laughing at us (my child and me). I figured it best if my inner child went to see someone else so there's no conflict of interest, but it's a real pain convincing him to go without me. Okay, so this story has nothing to do with Flash, so you're thinking, "What's the point?" The point is, if you don't read this chapter, you'll go insane.
