Getting frustrated and starting over while working on anything is a common thing and nothing to be ashamed of. Right? Anyhow, while that may or may not be true, one thing is. You should never have to press two keys at once or click, drag, and then press Delete to remove everything from your Stage and start over. That's too much work for anyone. Instead just double-click the Eraser Tool at any time to quickly and effectively clear your entire Stage. Now you're back to square one. Keep in mind that as with the other methods of clearing your Stage, this will only affect layers that are not locked.
