Now that your menu is complete, you can burn your DVD and create something to enjoy for years to come. You can burn multiple copies to give to your friends and family or you can create a disc image so you can burn a disc at any time.
Preview the DVD Menu
Before you make your DVD project permanent by burning it, you want to preview it to make sure it is just the way you want it. Click on the Preview Project icon in the Preview window taskbar. This brings up a Preview Project window that contains the complete DVD menu along with a simulated remote control so you can operate your menu just as you would from your DVD player.
Scroll through your menus and even play your videos to make sure you are happy with the result. When you are done previewing, close the window.
Click Burn
When you are satisfied that your project is ready to burn, click the Burn icon in the Preview window to bring up the Burn Project dialog.
Select Drive
After the Burn Project dialog is open, select the DVD burner you want to use and place a blank disc into the drive.
Burn Disc Or...
When you have inserted your recordable DVD, click the Burn button at the bottom of the window. Your DVD takes several minutes to burn depending on the speed of your burner. When your disc is complete, your DVD is automatically ejected.
...Create Disc Image
Instead of burning a DVD, you can create a disc image. This is like taking a picture of your DVD project and saving it. A disc image, or .iso file, is a standard disc image format that can be used by other applications. You can use the .iso file to burn a replica of your DVD at any time. Check the Save disc image file option and set a destination for the file. Click the Burn button at the bottom of the window.
