Several of the features in ZENworks for Desktops 4 include the capability to e-mail information and events to identified users. In order to send the e-mail, the agents must contact the SMTP server in your environment, communicate, and send the e-mail through that system. This policy enables you to specify the IP address of the SMTP host that the agents associated with this policy (through inheritance) use. The SMTP Host tab, accessed from the Service Location Object window in ConsoleOne, enables the administrator to identify the IP address of the SMTP mail server in their environment (see Figure 11.2).
